Bianca Umali’s debutante gowns are straight out of a fairytale

March 17 was definitely one for the books for Bianca Umali. Two weeks after her 18th birthday, the “Kambal, Karibal” star held her grand debut celebration at Edsa Shangri-La Hotel, Manila, in front of hundreds of guests comprising her family, friends, and co-stars in showbiz. And just as everyone expected, she looked absolutely stunning and glowing–and by glowing, we meant literally glowing.

For her entourage, Bianca wore a princess-like glow in the dark off-shoulder ball gown.

With this particular outfit, the Kapuso actress seemed to have made a bit of research. According to GMA News, the ensemble was made by Liza Padilla, a reputed designer whose clients are mostly made up of A-listers such us Bea Alonzo and KC Concepcion.

In an interview, Bianca mentioned that while it wasn’t exactly her ‘dream gown’, it was just what she wanted for her 18th birthday.

“Matagal ko na siyang nakita. Matagal ko na siyang gustong mangyari and I really planned it for today.”

On the other hand, the actress’ main gown was much simpler, yet still as fabulous. Thanks to Filipino designer Fay Reyes and John Paul Dizon, she got precisely what she wanted for her special party. And oh, did you know that this outfit came all the way from Dubai?

“I had a design in mind noon pa at matagal ko nang ipinakita sa kanya. They’re going to make it happen. Nanggaling po siya sa Dubai because mahirap po siyang gawin dito.”

Lastly, Bianca had an outfit change for her dance number: another Liza Padilla masterpiece, only this time, in a sleek smart pantsuit.

Of course, her glam look wouldn’t be complete without the magical hands of her stylists for the night, John Paul Dizon, Aries Manel, and Ting Duque.

Happy birthday, Bianca!
