Anyone who follows James Yap and partner Michela Cazzola’s little family on Instagram sure knows about their bundle of joy, Michael James. At the young age of one, the unico hijo has captivated hearts with his undeniable charm, promising talent, and good genes that he obviously inherited from his gorgeous parents. Nowadays, we are able to see more from this kid–and how similar he is to his dad.
Talking with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), Michela revealed that their Michael James is very active. His favorite toy? Ball, which we’re certain he took after his old man.
“At home, he runs everywhere, he likes to play with ball and play with the dog. He doesn’t really like to sit for a long time!”
But not only that. According to the proud mom, their unico hijo knows his way around people, too. His keenness to observe is what makes him able to interact with others. This time, it’s something that he got from Michela. Asked whether Michael James is more like his daddy or mommy, the latter answered:
“Both physically and in terms of personality, I think he’s really a combination of me and James. Some people say he looks like me, others say like James, but in fairness he’s really a mix. In terms of attitude, he’s talkative, so that’s me. But he also observes a lot and that’s from James.”
And while he became associated with his parents’ personality, Michael James, according to James’ Italian partner, has his own ways as well.
“But I also think he has his own characteristics, like for instance, he enjoys the company of people and his curiosity. He loves to travel too so that he got it from both of us.”
Apart from his promising love for basketball and traveling, Michael James also loves nature, animals in particular. That’s why his parents always make sure to take a family visit to the zoo whenever possible.
And oh, did we mention that this adorable baby is trilingual, too? He knows how to speak Filipino, English, and her mother’s tongue, Italian. I mean, what’s not to love?
