Out of all the love stories we read about, homeless couple Sammy and Virginia proved that true love can be found in the most unlikely of places. In February of this year, Muchiri Frames, a photography team based in Kenya, chose to feature Sammy and Virginia by styling the homeless couple to look like professional models.
The Muchiri Frames website shared:
“Under the inspiration of love in its simplest form, we celebrated Valentine‘s with these amazing souls and came out with great testimonies. Indeed, beneath all the dirt, tattered clothes and slurred speeches there lies beautiful individuals who would thrive like the rest of us if we offered them the opportunities. Love doesn‘t discriminate, here is proof.”
Sammy and Virginia were given a makeover before the shoot. The photography team also asked about the homeless couple’s love story. The two love birds detailed how a few inadvertent meetings led them to being friends and then, finally, lovers.
When Sammy and Virginia posed for the camera, they were giggly and blissful. True enough, Sammy and Virginia’s loving exchange of smiles, gestures, and affectionate looks in each other’s eyes were proof that their bond is genuine.
They served to be a shining example of true love.
Despite their current setup, the homeless couple remains hopeful for a better life. They are also supportive of each other’s dreams. Virginia still wishes to have a catering career, while Sammy keeps his driver’s license in the hopes that he will eventually land a job.
